Romualdo, born and raised in the Baroque City of Catania, Sicily. At a young age exposed to "The Arts" in a family where art is not foreign. One brother is a Painter and Sculptor... Another brother,was an International Art Dealer.
However Romualdo, self tought pursued Stained Glass.
As a Hobbyist he had the opportunity and the freedom to express his creativity in several pieces which have not been marketed but had been presented to Family and friends, and of course decorating his residence. He works best when he composes and creates his own works of art.
As an artist he takes Commission pieces to the next level.
Give him an idea and he will develop a memorable piece, for homes, offices or Organizations.
The partners compliment each other, in discussing and putting together a pleasant flow of lines and colors, appealing to the eye. Be it for Quilts or Stained Glass.
And the Legacy continues with Romualdo's Son Marco. Who is now a professional Photograper.

Maxi Lardiere...born and educated in the "Sound of Music" Country of Austria, during World War II. Grew up in a very musical and artistic home. Wanted to be a fashion designer...but in those days needed a tailoring degree to get into Schools in Vienna, so tailoring she learned...marriage and children followed...immigrated to the USA in 61 putting her vision aside to raise a family.
Quilting became a dream when different Quiltshows in California, Colorado and Ohio sparked her imagination again. Workshops and classes with renowned teachers followed. The QUILT EXPERIENCE became her passion. She now designs and executes her own patterns and her imagination goes wild when she paints the fabrics for her own creations.
Her Quilts sold through Art Shows and Galleries and are now found all over the world.
Maxi's favorite Quilt up to date is titled "Rags to Riches" where the prospective Client collects Cotton items from friends and or family, that will be incorporated into a "NEW" cozy and durable Quilt that brings all the memories together.
All her Quilts are made in her Studio on Long Beach Island in New Jersey.
As a designer, textile artist and Quilter it is Maxi's ambition to have her work exhibited in your home or office.
