Appraisals...

...for insurance or other purposes are available. If you do not live in our area...get in touch by phone, E-mail or (snail)-mail, send us a short description, a picture and size of your piece, we in return will give you an estimate of charges for the Appraisal and an approximate insurable value. Package the quilt protecting it so to avoid damage, mail it, insured, to our address. We in turn will do all the necessary research to establish, as close as possible, its age, possible origin, style(pattern)and marketable value. The item will be returned to you, within a reasonable time at completion of our research. S $ H will be included in the cost of the Appraisal. A written Certificate featuring a picture of your quilt will be mailed under separate cover. However, if you live within driving distance to Long Beach Island NJ....come and visit us, make a nice day of it. Visit Barnegat Lighthouse and many other local historical places. We can always recommend a nice place for Lunch. When you deliver your Quilt to us, you will receive a receipt.... a cup of Italian "Espresso" and an approximate delivery time. .....(Any history or pass-down information about the quilt to be appraised is always welcomed....)

Restoration...

We offer free Estimates for the restoration of your aged, damaged or worn Quilt. Depending on the amount of damage and availability of matching fabrics to restore the quilt to its original appearance... or close to it, we need time. Please follow all directions from our Appraisal section....and or contact us (click on the green link further down) and we can discuss your needs with you.

We are always at our customers' disposal for free consultations.....We check our E-mail often and return calls promptly. If you live in the area and would like our expert advice on color choices for a quilt or wall-hanging to decorate a new, or model home, office or ...whatever it may be, make an appointment and we will gladly help any way we can.
